St. Charles (IL) – Best Integration
St. Charles was presented with a Run Smarter in the Best Integration category. In less than a year, they migrated from a legacy system to Laserfiche and automated their Account Payable process including an integration with Lawson. They continue to add departments to the system and are getting started using Laserfiche Forms.
Kentucky Sanitation District 1 – Most Innovative Change Management Initiative
Sanitation District #1 was presented with a Run Smarter in the Best Change Management category. By working with each department identifying their business processes and how these can be handled in Laserfiche, they have been able to help employees do their jobs more efficiently. They have over 50 active workflows and 26 active forms/ business processes currently in action as well as several integrations with main line of business applications such as Great Plains and ReQlogic.
Collin County (TX) – Best Records Management Initiative
Collin County was presented with a Run Smarter in the Best Records Management Initiative category. The County staff ensures that citizens are provided the best public service through easy access to their records in Laserfiche, as well as ensuring the department processes are automated using some out of the box ECM tools.
City of Boca Raton (FL) – Best Accounting/Finance Initiative
Boca Raton was presented with a Run Smarter in the Best Accounting/Finance Initiative category. They have rolled out a completely paperless Account Payable process that is initiated through the submission of an electronic Additional Vendor Information form that then allows vendors to submit invoices electronically. They are then routed through the process using Workflow and integrated with their SunGard NaviLine ERP. This process has reduced errors, processing times and increased customer satisfaction.
