Digital Marketing Specialist

Are you a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in marketing and sales? MCCi is looking for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive marketing and sales efforts. This role manages the day-to-day digital marketing and demand generation processes. The key activities include supporting our website (paid, organic, and direct traffic), planning and executing lead nurturing campaigns, setting goals for and analyzing lead quality results, and acting as owner of the lead generation programs. The Digital Marketing Specialist works directly with Marketing and Sales leadership to execute lead generation activities that are critical to facilitating sales growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute the strategy and tactics outlined by sales leadership for key performance indicators; deliver on these metrics to ensure consistency in pipeline development and reporting
  • Proactively lead the growth of acquisition channels, including webinars, events, emails, SEM, content syndication, ABM, industry partnerships, etc.
  • Grow marketing-qualified leads for prospect/net new and existing clients cross-sell campaigns
  • Execute pre-defined lead goals for lead generation/marketing initiatives; work with sales leadership to determine if projected outcomes are sufficient to support pipeline development and sales goals; find solutions to support programs that fall short of goals
  • Remain knowledgeable of the company’s products/services to manage qualification efforts
  • Provide data-driven insights into ROI, KPIs, and goals by monitoring, tracking, and communicating campaign performance, from leads through opportunities and closed deals
  • Develop and execute proven processes to convert leads into sales opportunities
  • Monitor changes in lead flow monthly to identify changes in trends proactively
  • Propose new and improved lead-gen marketing campaigns
  • Optimize marketing automation (HubSpot) and lead nurturing through email and content marketing
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to constantly improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to maximize ROI

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a marketing-related field preferred; equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing automation/lead generation or sales for B2B or B2G
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with digital content/campaign development tools and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), as well as lead generation in a B2B environment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in ConnectWise, Salesforce, or a similar CRM tool
  • Proven ability to manage/execute concurrent projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Energetic, results-oriented approach with a strong sense of accountability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a passion for creative content development and the ability to effectively articulate customer value propositions and brand positioning
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for tradeshows or other events; anticipated travel <10%
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to effectively coordinate the transition of leads through the sales funnel
