We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team. As a member of our internal IT team, you will have an integral role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our IT infrastructure. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Windows operating systems and a strong problem-solving ability.
What you’ll do:
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors and resource monitoring
- Ensure system architecture components work together seamlessly
- Oversee the Internal Helpdesk Board
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for employees
- Maintain inventory management for all physical equipment
- Enpoint Security Management
- Assist with the company’s overall compliance with SOC2, penetration and DR testing
- Create and update job task documentation on an ongoing basis
- Update various internal reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Assist with management of software licensing
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in application administration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration and administration
- Expertise in Active Directory management and Azure administration; user and group management, group policy implementation and domain controller administration
- Experience in Microsoft 365 Administration; ability to manage user accounts, licenses and configurations within the Microsoft 365 admin center
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Configuration and management of network services, such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN in both on-premises and Azure environments
- Experience with patch management, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Azure Update Management
- Experience with Microsoft collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams and Exchange; Administration and configuration of these tools for optimal performance and security
- Strong documentation skills for tracking system configurations, changes and procedures; creation and maintenance of documentation for troubleshooting and knowledge sharing
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others as needed
